Plastics - Poly(methyl methacrylate) sheets - Types, dimensions and characteristics - Part 1: Cast sheets (ISO 7823-1:2003)

ISO 7823-1:2003 specifies requirements for non-modified flat poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) cast sheets (plates) for general-purpose use. The sheets may be colourless or coloured, and may be transparent, translucent or opaque.
The thickness range of the sheets covered by this part of ISO 7823 is 1,5 mm to 25 mm.

Dieser vorliegende Teil der ISO 7823 legt die Anforderungen an flache, gegossene Tafeln (Platten) aus unmodi-fiziertem Polymethylmethacrylat (PMMA) für allgemeine Zwecke fest. Die Tafeln dürfen farblos oder gefärbt sein und dürfen durchsichtig, durchscheinend oder undurchsichtig sein.
Der Dickenbereich der in diesem Teil der ISO 7823 behandelten Tafeln beträgt 1,5 mm bis 25 mm.

L'ISO 7823-1:2003 spécifie des exigences relatives aux plaques coulées en poly(méthacrylate de méthyle) (PMMA), planes et non modifiées, pour usage général. Ces plaques peuvent être incolores ou colorées, et transparentes, translucides ou opaques.
La plage de l'épaisseur des plaques relevant de cette partie de l'ISO 7823 est comprise entre 1,5 mm et 25 mm.

"Plastics" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 249 "Plastics", the secretariat of
which is held by IBN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2003, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2003.
This document supersedes EN ISO 7823-1:2000.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
