This part of the EN 13451 series specifies safety requirements for diving platforms, diving springboards and associated equipment in addition to the general safety requirements of EN 13451-1 and is meant to be read in conjunction with it.
The requirements of this part of the EN 13451 series take priority over those in EN 13451-1.
This part of the EN 13451 series is applicable to platforms and springboards, and associated equipment for use in classified swimming pools as specified in EN 15288-1 and EN 15288-2.

Dieser Teil der Normenreihe EN 13451 legt sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen an Sprungplattformen, Sprungbretter und zugehörige Geräte zusätzlich zu den allgemeinen sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen nach EN 13451-1 fest und ist dafür bestimmt, in Verbindung damit gelesen zu werden.
Die Anforderungen dieses Teils der Normenreihe EN 13451 haben Vorrang gegenüber EN 13451-1.
Dieser Teil der Normenreihe EN 13451 gilt für Sprungplattformen, Sprungbretter und zugehörige Geräte zum Gebrauch in nach EN 15288-1 und EN 15288-2 in klassifizierten Schwimmbädern.

La présente partie de la série EN 13451 spécifie les exigences de sécurité relatives aux plates-formes de plongeon, aux plongeoirs et à l’équipement associé qui viennent compléter les exigences générales de sécurité de l’EN 13451-1 et elle est prévue pour être lue conjointement avec cette dernière.
Les exigences de la présente partie de la série EN 13451 ont la priorité sur celles de l’EN 13451-1.
La présente partie de la série EN 13451 est applicable aux plates-formes de plongeon, aux plongeoirs et à l’équipement associé destinés à être utilisés pour les piscines classées comme spécifié dans l’EN 15288-1 et l’EN 15288-2.

This standard is not applicable to artificial climbing structures according to EN 12572 (all parts) and to inflatable climbing/bouldering walls according to EN ISO 25649-6.
In the aspects which overlap with EN 13451-10 the requirements of this EN standard take precedence over the EN 13451-10.
NOTE In this standard, "climbing" and "bouldering" are used synonymously.
