Hearing protectors - Safety requirements and testing - Part 8: Entertainment audio ear-muffs

This part of the Standard is concerned with entertainment audio ear-muffs. It specifies constructional and design and performance requirements, methods of test, marking requirements and user information relating to the incorporation of the entertainment audio facility.
The requirements of this standard are intended to take account of the ergonomic interaction between the wearer, the device and, where possible, the working environment in which the device is likely to be used (see Annex ZA of this standard and EN 458 [2]).

Gehörschützer - Sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen und Prüfungen - Teil 8: Audiokapselgehörschützer für Unterhaltungszwecke

Dieser Teil dieser Norm gilt für Audiokapselgehörschützer für Unterhaltungszwecke. Er legt für die Einrichtung
zur Wiedergabe von Tonsignalen für Unterhaltungszwecke Anforderungen hinsichtlich Konstruktion,
Gestaltung, Eigenschaften, Leistung, Prüfverfahren, Kennzeichnung und Benutzerinformationen fest.
Die Anforderungen dieser Norm berücksichtigen ergonomische Wechselwirkungen zwischen Benutzer, den
Audiokapselgehörschützern für Unterhaltungszwecke und, wo möglich, der Arbeitsumgebung, in der die
Kapselgehörschützer wahrscheinlich benutzt werden (siehe Anhang ZA dieser Norm und EN 458 [2]).

La présente partie de la norme traite des serre-tête audio de divertissement. Elle spécifie les exigences en
matière de construction, de conception, de performances, les méthodes d'essai et les exigences de marquage
ainsi que les informations destinées à l'utilisateur relatives à l’apport du dispositif électro-acoustique de
divertissement.
Les exigences de la présente norme prennent en compte l'interaction ergonomique entre l'utilisateur, le
dispositif et, lorsque cela est possible, l'environnement de travail auquel le dispositif est destiné (voir
Annexe ZA de la présente norme et l'EN 458 [2]).
