Petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries - Scheme for conformity assessment of manufacturers of special materials (ISO 17782:2018)
This document establishes a procedure for verifying that the manufacturer of special materials for the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries has sufficient competence and experience of the relevant material grades of metal, and the necessary facilities and equipment, to manufacture these materials in the required shapes and sizes with acceptable properties according to the applicable standard, material specification and/or material data sheet specified by the purchaser.
This document is applicable to manufacturers of various materials, product forms and manufacturing processes when specified by the purchaser. This document has been established considering especially, but not exclusively:
a) duplex stainless steel;
b) high alloyed austenitic stainless steel;
c) nickel-based alloys;
d) titanium and its alloys.
This document is also applicable to the processes of induction bending and strain-hardened products.

Le présent document établit un mode opératoire afin de vérifier que le fabricant de matériaux spéciaux destinés aux industries pétrolière, pétrochimique et du gaz naturel dispose d'un niveau de compétence et d'expérience suffisant en matière de qualité des métaux et qu'il possède les installations et l'équipement nécessaires à leur fabrication dans les formes et dimensions exigées, avec des propriétés acceptables conformément à la norme applicable, à la spécification du matériau et/ou à la fiche technique du matériau spécifiée par l'acheteur.
Le présent document est applicable aux fabricants de divers matériaux, des formes de produits et des processus de fabrication lorsque l'acheteur le précise. Le présent document a été établi en prenant notamment en compte, sans toutefois s'y limiter:
a) l'acier inoxydable duplex;
b) l'acier austénitique inoxydable fortement allié;
c) les alliages à base de nickel;
d) le titane et ses alliages.
Le présent document est également applicable aux processus des produits obtenus par cintrage par induction et par écrouissage.

Ta dokument določa postopek za preverjanje, ali ima proizvajalec posebnih materialov v naftni industriji, petrokemični industriji in industriji zemeljskega plina dovolj kompetenc in izkušenj z ustreznimi vrstami kovin ter potrebnimi napravami in opremo za proizvodnjo
teh materialov v zahtevanih oblikah in velikostih s sprejemljivimi lastnostmi v skladu z ustreznim
standardom, specifikacijo materiala in/ali tehničnim listom materiala, ki ga določi kupec.
Ta dokument se uporablja za proizvajalce različnih materialov, oblik izdelkov in proizvodnih
procesov, ki jih določi kupec. Ta dokument je bil oblikovan posebej,
a ne izključno za:
a) dupleksno nerjavno jeklo;
b) avstenitno visoko legirano nerjavno jeklo;
c) nikljeve litine;
d) titan in njegove zlitine.
Ta dokument se uporablja tudi za postopke induktivnega utrjevanja in deformacijsko utrjene izdelke.

This document (EN ISO 17782:2018) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 67 "Materials,
equipment and offshore structures for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries" in
collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 12 “Materials, equipment and offshore structures for
petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries” the secretariat of which is held by NEN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2019, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by May 2019.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
According to the CEN-CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the
