Textiles - Quantitative chemical analysis - Part 21: Mixtures of chlorofibres, certain modacrylics, certain elastanes, acetates, triacetates and certain other fibres (method using cyclohexanone) (ISO 1833-21:2006)

ISO 1833-21:2006 specifies a method, using cyclohexanone, to determine the percentage of chlorofibre, modacrylic, elastane, acetate and triacetate, after removal of non-fibrous matter, in textiles made of binary mixtures of acetate, triacetate, chlorofibre, certain modacrylics, certain elastanes and wool, animal hair, silk, cotton, cupro, modal, viscose, polyamide, acrylic and glass fibre.
Where modacrylics or elastanes are present, a preliminary test should be carried out to determine whether the fibre is completely soluble in the reagent.
It is also possible to analyse mixtures containing chlorofibres by using the test methods described in ISO 1833-13 or ISO 1833-17.

-   Acetat, Triacetat, Chlorfasern, bestimmten Modacrylfasern, bestimmten Elastanen
und
-   Wolle, Tierhaar, Seide, Baumwolle, Cupro, Modal, Viskose, Polyamid, Polyacryl und Glasfaser
festgelegt.
Wenn Modacryl  oder Elastanfasern vorhanden sind, sollte eine Vorprüfung durchgeführt werden, um festzustellen, ob die Fasern in dem Reagenz vollständig löslich sind.
Es ist auch möglich, chlorfaserhaltige Mischungen zu analysieren, indem die in ISO 1833 13 oder ISO 1833 17 beschriebenen Prüfverfahren angewendet werden.

L'ISO 1833-21:2006 spécifie une méthode de détermination, à la cyclohexanone, du pourcentage de chlorofibres, modacryliques, acétates et triacétates, après élimination des matières non fibreuses, dans les textiles composés de mélanges binaires d'acétate, triacétate, chlorofibres, certains modacryliques, certains élasthannes et de laine, poils d'animaux, soie, coton, cupro, modal, viscose, polyamide, acrylique et fibre de verre.
Si des modacryliques ou des élasthannes sont présents, il convient d'effectuer un essai préliminaire pour déterminer si la fibre est complètement soluble dans le réactif.
Il est également possible d'analyser les mélanges contenant des chlorofibres à l'aide des méthodes d'essai décrites dans l'ISO 1833-13 ou l'ISO 1833-17.

Ta del standarda ISO 1833 določa metodo z uporabo cikloheksanona za ugotavljanje odstotne vrednosti klorovlaken, modakrilnih, elastanskih, acetatnih in triacetatnih vlaken po odstranitvi nevlakenske snovi v tekstilijah iz dvokomponentnih mešanic - acetatnih, triacetatnih, klorovlaken, določenih modakrilnih vlaken, določenih elastanov in - volne, živalskih vlaken, svile, bombaža, kupro vlaken, modalnih vlaken, viskoznih, poliamidnih, akrilnih in steklenih vlaken. Kadar obstaja prisotnost modakrilnih ali elastanskih vlaken, je treba predhodno preskusiti, ali so popolnoma topna v reagentu. Mešanice, ki vsebujejo klorovlakna, je mogoče analizirati tudi z uporabo preskusnih metod, opisanih v ISO 1833-13 ali ISO 1833-17.

EN ISO 1833-21:2010 (E) 3 Foreword The text of ISO 1833-21:2006 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 38 “Textiles” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 1833-21:2010 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile products” the secretariat of which is held by BSI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by April 2011. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights.
