EN ISO 10380:2003

Pipework - Corrugated metal hoses and hose assemblies (ISO 10380:2003)

ISO 10380:2002 specifies the requirements for the design, manufacture and testing of corrugated metal hoses and hose assemblies for general purposes.
It also specifies sizes from DN 4 to DN 300, pressures from PN 0,5 to PN 250, pressure derating factors for elevated temperatures, two methods of construction and three types of flexibility of hose assembly.

Diese Internationale Norm legt Anforderungen für die Auslegung, Herstellung und Prüfung von gewellten Metallschläuchen und Metallschlauchleitungen für allgemeine Anwendungen fest.
Die Norm legt ferner Nennweiten DN 4 bis DN 300, Drücke PN 0,5 bis PN 250, Druck-Abminderungsfaktoren für erhöhte Temperaturen, zwei Konstruktionsarten und drei Flexibilitätstypen der Schlauchleitung fest.

L'ISO 10380:2002 spécifie les caractéristiques de conception, de construction et d'essai des tuyaux et tuyauteries métalliques flexibles onduleux d'usage général.
L'ISO 10380:2002 spécifie également les diamètres nominaux de DN 4 à DN 300, les pressions nominales de PN 0,5 à PN 250, les facteurs de correction en fonction de la pression pour les températures élevées, deux types de construction et trois types de flexibilité des tuyauteries.

Foreword
This document (EN ISO 10380:2003) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 5 "Ferrous
metal pipes and metallic fittings" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 342 "Metal hoses,
hose assemblies, bellows and expansion joints", the secretariat of which is held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2003, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by August 2003.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the
following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Czech
Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg,
Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
