This document specifies the technical conditions of inspection and delivery, the mechanical properties, the tolerances on dimensions and form of rolled semi-finished aluminium alloy products intended for tanks for the storage and transportation of dangerous goods, in particular of gasoline and other liquid hydrocarbons.
It applies to hot or cold-rolled strip, sheet and plate with a thickness over 3,0 mm and up to and including 12,0 mm used as a wall material.
NOTE 1 Compliance with the present document does not ensure compliance with national or international regulations. The user of the document is responsible for checking that the material he orders or sells complies with all applicable regulations. Depending on the chemical and physical properties of the dangerous good to be transported or stored, it can be necessary to agree on additional properties or inspection conditions in order to comply with applying regulations.
NOTE 2 Some of the products listed in the present document can be subject to patent or patent applications, and their listing herein does not in any way imply the granting of a licence under such patent right.
CEN/TC 132 affirms it is policy that in the case when a patentee refuses to grant licenses on standardised standard products under reasonable and not discriminatory conditions, then this product shall be removed from the corresponding document.
Aluminium und Aluminiumlegierungen - Schweißbare Walzerzeugnisse für Tanks für Lagerung und Transport von Gefahrgut
Dieses Dokument legt die Technischen Lieferbedingungen, die mechanischen Eigenschaften, die Grenzabmaße und Formtoleranzen für gewalztes Halbzeug aus Aluminiumlegierungen fest, das für die Herstellung von Tanks zur Lagerung und zum Transport von Gefahrgut, speziell für Benzin und andere flüssige Kohlenwasserstoffe, vorgesehen ist.
Es gilt für warm- oder kaltgewalzte Bänder, Bleche und Platten mit einer Dicke über 3,0 mm bis 12,0 mm, die als Wandmaterial eingesetzt werden.
ANMERKUNG 1 Die Übereinstimmung mit dem vorliegenden Dokument garantiert nicht die Übereinstimmung mit nationalen oder internationalen Vorschriften. Der Anwender dieses Dokuments ist für die Überprüfung verantwortlich, dass das Erzeugnis, das er bestellt oder verkauft mit allen zutreffenden Vorschriften übereinstimmt. Abhängig von den chemischen und physikalischen Eigenschaften des Gefahrgutes, das transportiert oder gelagert werden soll, kann es notwendig sein, zusätzliche Eigenschaften oder Technischen Lieferbedingungen zu vereinbaren, damit sie mit den geltenden Vorschriften übereinstimmen.

CEN/TC 132 bekräftigt seine Vorgehensweise, dass in dem Fall, wenn ein Patentinhaber sich weigert, für genormte Erzeugnisse Lizenzen unter angemessenen und nicht diskriminierenden Bedingungen zu erteilen, dieses Erzeugnis aus dem entsprechenden Dokument entfernt werden muss.

Le présent document spécifie les conditions techniques de contrôle et de livraison, les caractéristiques mécaniques, les tolérances de dimension et de forme des produits semi-finis laminés en alliages d'aluminium pour réservoirs de stockage et de transport de matières dangereuses, en particulier l'essence et autres hydrocarbures liquides.
Il s'applique aux tôles minces, bandes et tôles épaisses laminées à froid ou à chaud, d'une épaisseur de plus de 3,0 mm mais ne dépassant pas 12,0 mm, utilisées comme matériau d'enveloppe.
NOTE 1 La conformité au présent document ne confère pas conformité aux réglementations nationales ou internationales. L'utilisateur de ce document est responsable de vérifier que le matériau qu'il commande est conforme à toutes les réglementations applicables. Suivant les caractéristiques chimiques et physiques de la matière dangereuse à transporter ou à stocker, il peut être nécessaire de se mettre d'accord sur des caractéristiques ou des conditions de contrôle supplémentaires pour vérifier la conformité à la réglementation.
NOTE 2 Certains des produits énumérés dans le présente document peuvent être l'objet de brevets ou de demandes de brevets ; leur mention n'implique en aucune manière qu'une licence ait été accordée dans le cadre du droit des brevets.
La politique affirmée du CEN/TC 132 est que si celui qui détient le brevet refuse d'accorder la licence pour des produits normalisés dans des conditions normales et non discriminatoires, les produits correspondants seront retirés du document.
