Playground equipment and surfacing - Part 5: Additional specific safety requirements and test methods for carousels
This document specifies additional safety requirements for carousels intended for permanent installation for use by children.
Where the main play function is not rotating, the relevant requirements in this part of EN 1176 can be used, as appropriate. This document is not applicable to motor-driven carousels, fairground carousels or climbing drums.

Wenn die Hauptspielfunktion nicht die Drehbewegung ist, können die maßgebenden Anforderungen in diesem Teil der EN 1176 wie jeweils angemessen angewendet werden. Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für motorgetriebene Karussells, Karussells auf Rummelplätzen oder Lauftrommeln.

Pour les équipements dont la principale fonction de jeu ne se limite pas à la rotation, les exigences pertinentes de la présente partie de l’EN 1176 peuvent être utilisées, le cas échéant. Le présent document ne s’applique pas aux manèges entraînés par un moteur, aux manèges forains ni aux tambours.

Ta standard določa dodatne varnostne zahteve za trajno nameščene vrtiljake za otroke. Kadar glavna funkcija igralne naprave ni vrtenje, se lahko ustrezne zahteve tega dela standarda EN 1176 uporabljajo, kot je ustrezno. Ta dokument se ne uporablja za vrtiljake na motorni pogon, zabaviščne vrtiljake ali plezalne objekte.
