Insulated means of transport for temperature sensitive goods - Requirements and testing - Part 1: Container
This document applies to all thermally insulated means of transport, including: trucks, trailers, tanks, vans, wagons, containers for land transport, small containers, packaging. It is related to every type of insulation. If certain temperatures are due to be maintained independently of external conditions, the above means of transport could be additionally provided with a cooling and/or heating device.
This document specifies the terminology, the requirements for thermal insulation, air tightness, test provisions, dimensioning of containers with and without cooling and/or heating device.
This document also specifies the test provisions for new and in service equipment(s).
This document specifies the terminology, the requirements for thermal insulation, air tightness, test provisions for K-value. This document does not specify further land transport requirements with regard to dimensions, weights, etc. This document does not cover safety requirements. This document does not specify special requirements for sea containers covered by ISO 1496-2.

Dieses Dokument gilt für alle wärmegedämmten Transportmittel, einschließlich: LKW, Anhänger, Tanks, Transporter, Güterwagen, Behälter für den Landtransport, kleine Behälter und Verpackungen. Sie bezieht sich auf alle Arten der Dämmung. Le présent document s’applique à tous les moyens de transport isothermes, y compris : camions, remorques, citernes, fourgonnettes, wagons, cellules pour le transport terrestre, petits conteneurs, emballage. Il porte sur tous les types d’isolation. Si certaines températures doivent être maintenues, indépendamment des conditions externes, les moyens de transport susmentionnés pourraient être également équipés d'un dispositif de chauffage et/ou de réfrigération.
Le présent document spécifie la terminologie, les exigences relatives à l'isolation thermique, à l'étanchéité à l'air, aux dispositions d'essai, ainsi qu'au dimensionnement des cellules, équipées ou non d'un dispositif de chauffage et/ou de réfrigération.
Le présent document spécifie également les dispositions d'essai pour les équipements nouveaux et en service.

Izolirana transportna sredstva za toplotno občutljivo blago - Zahteve in preskušanje - 1. del: Kontejner
Ta standard se uporablja za toplotno izolirana prevozna sredstva pri prevozu toplotno občutljivega blaga za omejevanje toplotne izmenjave z zunanjimi pogoji. Če je treba zagotoviti vzdrževanje določenih temperatur, se lahko zgornja prevozna sredstva dodatno opremi s hladilno in/ali grelno napravo. Ta standard določa terminologijo, zahteve za toplotno izolacijo, zračno nepropustnost, določila za opravljanje preskusov, dimenzioniranje opreme z nameščeno hladilno in/ali grelno napravo. Ta standard podaja tudi določila za opravljanje preskusov za novo opremo in opremo, ki je že v uporabi. Ta del določa terminologijo, zahteve za toplotno izolacijo, zračno nepropustnost in določila za opravljanje preskusov za koeficient k. Ta standard ne določa podrobnih zahtev za kopenski prevoz glede dimenzij, teže itd. Ta standard ne zajema varnostnih zahtev.
