Aerospace series - Paints and varnishes - Determination of solar absorptance

This standard specifies the method of test for determining the solar absorptance of paints and varnishes.
The test procedure determines the amount of energy reflected by the material in the range of wavelengths at which there is energy from the sun hitting the Earth’s surface, and with the aid of a standard solar spectrum it allows a calculation to determine the solar absorptance which can then be used to determine the efficiency of solar heat reflecting paints.
The procedure is applicable to products intended for use in aerospace applications.

Luft- und Raumfahrt - Beschichtungsstoffe - Bestimmung der Sonnenlichtabsorption

Diese Europäische Norm legt das Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Sonnenlichtabsorption von Beschichtungen fest.
Mit diesem Prüfverfahren wird die Menge an Energie ermittelt, die vom Werkstoff in dem Wellenlängenbereich der auf die Erdoberfläche auftreffenden Sonnenenergie reflektiert wird, und ermöglicht mit Hilfe eines Standardsolarspektrums die rechnerische Ermittlung der Sonnenlichtabsorption für die Ermittlung der Effizienz von Sonnenwärme reflektierenden Beschichtungen.
Dieses Verfahren ist auf Werkstoffe, die für den Einsatz in Luft- und Raumfahrtanwendungen bestimmt sind, anwendbar.

Série aérospatiale - Peintures et vernis - Détermination de l’absorption solaire

La présente Norme européenne spécifie la méthode d’essai pour déterminer l’absorbance solaire des peintures et des vernis.
La procédure d’essai détermine la quantité d’énergie réfléchie par le matériau dans la gamme des longueurs d’ondes auxquelles l’énergie se crée lorsque le soleil touche la surface de la terre et à l’aide d’un spectre solaire standard, elle permet de faire un calcul pour déterminer l’absorbance solaire qui, ensuite, peut être utilisée pour définir l’efficacité des peintures réfléchissant la chaleur solaire.
La procédure est applicable aux produits destinés à être utilisés dans les applications aérospatiales.

Ta standard določa preskusno metodo za ugotavljanje absorpcije sončne svetlobe pri barvah in lakih.
Preskusni postopek ugotovi količino energije, ki jo material odbije v različnih valovnih dolžinah, pri katerem energija iz sonca udarja zemeljsko površino in s standardnim sončnim spektrom dopušča izračun za ugotavljanje absorpcije sončne svetlobe, ki je nato lahko uporabljen za ugotavljanje učinkovitosti barv za odbijanje sončne toplote. Postopek velja za proizvode, namenjene uporabi v aeronavtiki.
