Leather - Chemical tests - Determination of the preservative (TCMTB, PCMC, OPP, OIT) content in leather by liquid chromatography (ISO 13365:2011)

ISO 13365:2011 specifies a test method for the determination of the content of the following preservative agents:
2-(thiocyanomethylthio)-benzothiazole (TCMTB);
4-chloro-3-methylphenol (PCMC);
2-phenylphenol (OPP);
2-octylisothiazol-3(2H)-one (OIT);
in leather by liquid chromatography.
Preservative agents are necessary to protect leather from microbiological attack.

Leder - Chemische Prüfungen - Bestimmung von Konservierungsmitteln (TCMTB, CMK, OPP, OIT) in Leder mittels Flüssigchromatographie (ISO 13365:2011)

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des Gehaltes der folgenden
Konservierungsmittel:
⎯ 2-(Thiocyanomethylthio)benzothiazol (TCMTB);
⎯ 4-Chlor-3-Methylphenol (CMK);
⎯ 2-Phenylphenol (OPP);
⎯ 2-Octylisothiazol-3(2H)-on (OIT);
in Leder mit Flüssigchromatographie fest.
Konservierungsmittel sind notwendig, um Leder vor mikobiologischem Befall zu schützen.
ANMERKUNG Die Konservierungsmittel 4-Chlor-3-Methylphenol (CMK) und 2-Phenylphenol (OPP) können auch nach
ISO 17070 extrahiert und mit Gaschromatographie/Massenspektroskopie (GC-MS) quantitativ bestimmt werden.

L'ISO 13365:2011 spécifie une méthode de dosage des agents de conservation suivants:
2-(thiocyanométhylthio)-benzothiazole (TCMTB);
4-chloro-3-méthylphénol (PCMC);
2-phénylphénol (OPP);
2-octylisothiazol-3(2H)-one (OIT);
dans le cuir, par chromatographie en phase liquide.
Les agents de conservation sont nécessaires pour protéger le cuir des attaques microbiologiques.

Ta mednarodni standard določa preskusno metodo za določevanje vsebnosti naslednjih emisij zaščite: - 2-(tiocianometiltio)-benzotiazol (TCMTB); - 4-kloro-3-metilfenol (PCMC); - 2-fenilfenol (OPP); - 2-oktilizotiazol-3(2H)-on (OIT); v usnju s tekočinsko kromatografijo. Zaščitna sredstva so potrebna za zaščito usnja pred napadom mikrobov.

Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies”.

text or by endorsement, at the latest by July 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the
