Portable equipment for projecting extinguishing agents supplied by firefighting pumps - Hand-held branchpipes for fire service use - Part 3: Smooth bore jet and/or one fixed spray jet angle branchpipes PN 16

In addition to the requirements given in EN 15182-1:2019, this document applies to hand-held branchpipes with smooth bore jet and/or one fixed spray jet angle branchpipes with a nominal pressure of 16 bar (1,6 MPa) PN 16, with a maximum flow rate up to 1 000 l/min at a reference pressure of 6 bar (0,6 MPa). It deals with:
- safety requirements;
- performance requirements;
- test methods.
This document applies to branchpipes as defined in Annex A of EN 15182-1:2019.
WARNING 1 — These branchpipes offer no or inadequate protection for firefighters when the spray angle is less than 30 ° and therefore, are not be used in high risk firefighting situations such as internal attack.
WARNING 2 — These branchpipes should not be used when fighting fires in or near electrical installations when the spray angle is less than 30° without written authorization from the manufacturer in the manual. This authorization from the manufacturer includes safety distances.

Zusätzlich zu den in EN 15182-1:2019 angegebenen Anforderungen gilt der vorliegende Teil dieser Normenreihe für Strahlrohre mit Vollstrahl und/oder einem unveränderlichen Sprühstrahlwinkel mit einem Nenndruck von 16 bar (1,6 MPa) PN 16, mit einem maximalen Volumenstrom von bis zu 1 000 l/min bei einem Referenzdruck von 6 bar (0,6 MPa). Behandelt werden:
- Sicherheitsanforderungen;
- Leistungsanforderungen;
- Prüfverfahren.
Dieses Dokument gilt für Strahlrohre nach EN 15182-1:2019, Anhang A.
WARNUNG 1 — Diese Strahlrohre bieten keinen oder nur unzureichenden Schutz für Feuerwehrleute, wenn der Sprühwinkel weniger als 30° beträgt, und werden daher nicht in Situationen mit hohem Risiko bei der Brandbekämpfung, wie z. B. bei Innenangriffen, eingesetzt.
WARNUNG 2 — Diese Strahlrohre sollten nicht für die Brandbekämpfung in oder an elektrischen Anlagen eingesetzt werden, wenn der Sprühwinkel weniger als 30° beträgt, sofern dies vom Hersteller nicht schriftlich im Handbuch autorisiert wurde. Diese Autorisierung des Herstellers schließt Mindestabstände ein.

En complément des prescriptions données dans l’EN 15182-1:2019, le présent document s‘applique aux
lances à main à jet plein et/ou une diffusion à angle fixe, de pression nominale de 16 bar (16 MPa) PN 16,
de débit maximal 1 000 l/min à une pression de référence de 6 bar (0,6 MPa). Il traite :
- des prescriptions de sécurité ;
- des prescriptions de performances ;
- des méthodes d’essai.
Le présent document s’applique aux lances définies dans l’Annexe A de EN 15182-1:2019.
AVERTISSEMENT 1 — Ces lances offrent une protection insuffisante, voire nulle, aux pompiers lorsque
l’angle de diffusion est inférieur à 30°, et de ce fait elles ne sont pas utilisées dans des situations de lutte
contre l’incendie à haut risque, telles que l’attaque en intérieur.
AVERTISSEMENT 2 — Il convient de ne pas utiliser ces lances lorsque l’on combat un incendie qui s’est
déclaré dans des installations électriques ou qui a été provoqué par ces dernières avec un angle de
diffusion inférieur à 30°, sans l’autorisation écrite du fabricant dans la notice d’instructions. Cette
autorisation du fabricant comporte les distances de sécurité.

Poleg zahtev, navedenih v standardu EN 15182-1, se ta dokument uporablja za ročnike PN 16 s polnim curkom in/ali z razpršenim curkom pod določenim fiksnim kotom ter z največjim pretokom 1000 l/min pri referenčnem tlaku 6 barov (0,6 MPa). Obravnava:
– varnostne zahteve;
– zahteve glede zmogljivosti;
– preskusne metode.
Ta dokument se uporablja za ročnike, kot je opredeljeno v dodatku A standarda EN 15182-1.
OPOZORILO 1: Ti ročniki gasilcem ne zagotavljajo zaščite oz. zagotavljajo nezadostno zaščito, kadar je kot razpršenega curka manjši od 30°, zato se jih ne sme uporabljati pri izredno tveganih situacijah gašenja, kot je notranji napad.
OPOZORILO 2: Teh ročnikov se ne sme uporabljati pri gašenju požarov na električnih inštalacijah ali v njihovi bližini, kadar je kot razpršenega curka manjši od 30°, brez pisne odobritve proizvajalca v priročniku. Ta odobritev proizvajalca mora vključevati varnostne razdalje.
