Safety requirements for cableway installations designed to carry persons - Drive systems and other mechanical equipment
This European Standard specifies safety requirements for the mechanical and electrical devices of the drive system and other mechanical devices for cableway installations designed to carry persons. This standard is applicable to the various types of installations and takes into account their environment.
This European Standard applies to the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance and operation of the mechanical and electrical devices of the drive system and other mechanical devices for cableway installations designed to carry persons.
It includes requirements concerning the prevention of accidents and the protection of workers without prejudice to the application of national regulations.
National regulations regarding building or construction or that are designed to protect particular groups of people, remain unaffected.
It does not apply to installations for the transportation of goods, or to lifts.
Clauses 6 to 11 apply to the mechanical and electrical devices of the drive system.
Clauses 12 to 20 apply to other mechanical devices.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Sicherheitsanforderungen an die mechanischen und elektrischen Einrichtungen der Antriebe und der übrigen mechanischen Einrichtungen von Seilbahnen für den Personenverkehr fest. Dabei werden die verschiedenen Seilbahnsysteme und deren Umgebung berücksichtigt.
Die vorliegende Europäische Norm gilt für die Planung, die Montage, die Herstellung, die Instandhaltung, und den Betrieb der mechanischen und elektrischen Einrichtungen der Antriebe und der übrigen mechanischen Einrichtungen der Seilbahnen des Personenverkehrs.
Sie enthält Anforderungen über die Unfallverhütung und den Arbeitnehmerschutz unbeschadet der Anwendung nationaler Vorschriften.
Nationale Vorschriften mit bau- oder ordnungsrechtlichem Charakter oder die dem Schutz besonderer Personengruppen dienen bleiben unberührt.
Sie gilt weder für Seilbahnen des Güterverkehrs noch für Aufzüge.
Abschnitte 6 bis 11 gelten für mechanische und elektrische Einrichtungen der Antriebe.
Abschnitte 12 bis 20 gelten für weitere mechanische Einrichtungen.

Le présent document établit les prescriptions de sécurité s'appliquant aux dispositifs mécaniques et électriques des entraînements et autres dispositifs mécaniques des installations de transport à câbles destinées aux personnes. Il s'applique aux différents systèmes et tient compte de leur environnement.
Le présent document s'applique à la conception, à la fabrication et au montage des dispositifs mécaniques et électriques des entraînements et autres dispositifs mécaniques pour les remontées mécaniques ainsi qu'à leur exploitation.
Il comprend les prescriptions relatives à la prévention des accidents et à la protection des travailleurs.
Il ne s'applique ni aux installations de transport à câbles destinées aux marchandises ni aux ascenseurs inclinés.
Les Articles 6 à 11 s’appliquent aux dispositifs mécaniques et électriques des entraînements.
Les Articles 12 à 20 s’appliquent aux autres dispositifs mécaniques.

Ta evropski standard določa varnostne zahteve za mehansko opremo za naprave za prevoz oseb po vrvi. Ta standard se uporablja za različne vrste naprav, pri čemer se upoštevajo okolja njihove uporabe. Ta dokument se uporablja za načrtovanje, proizvodnjo, namestitev, vzdrževanje in delovanje mehanske opreme za žičniške in vlečne naprave za prevoz oseb. Vsebuje tudi specifikacije v zvezi s preprečevanjem nesreč in zaščito zaposlenih. Ne uporablja se za žičniške naprave za prevoz blaga ali vključena dvigala.

NACIONALNI UVOD
Standard SIST EN 13223 (sl), Varnostne zahteve za žičniške naprave za prevoz oseb – Pogonski
sistemi in druga mehanska oprema, 2015, ima status slovenskega standarda in je istoveten evropskemu
standardu EN 13223 (en), Safety requirements for cableway installations designed to carry persons –
Drive systems and other mechanical equipment, 2015.
Ta standard nadomešča SIST EN 13223:2005.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN 13223:2015 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo
CEN/TC 242 Varnostne zahteve za prevoz oseb z žičniškimi napravami. Slovenski standard SIST EN
13223:2015 je prevod evropskega standarda EN 13223:2015. V primeru spora glede besedila
slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski standard v angleškem jeziku.
Slovensko izdajo standarda je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC DTN Dvigalne in transportne naprave.
Odločitev za izdajo tega standarda je dne 6. marca 2015 sprejel tehnični odbor SIST/TC DTN Dvigalne
in transportne naprave.
