Ta evropski standard določa definicije in minimalne zahteve za energijsko učinkovite storitve. Energijsko učinkovite storitve igrajo zelo pomembno vlogo pri nadzoru porabe energije in izboljšavi energijske učinkovitosti. Veljajo za vse sektorje. Izboljšana energijska učinkovitost se lahko doseže zlasti s povečevanjem razpoložljivosti in uporabo energijsko učinkovitih storitev. Ta standard se lahko uporabi kot referenčni dokument za ustrezne kvalifikacijske, akreditacijske in/ali certifikacijske sheme za ponudnike energijsko učinkovitih storitev, kot je navedeno v členu 8 Direktive 2006/32/ES.

Energy efficiency services - Definitions and requirements
Services d'efficacité énergétique - Définitions et exigences Energieeffizienz-Dienstleistungen - Definitionen und Anforderungen This European Standard was approved by CEN on 29 April 2010.
CEN and CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which stipulate the conditions for giving this European Standard the status of a national standard without any alteration. Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national standards may be obtained on application to the CEN Management Centre or to any CEN and CENELEC member.
This European Standard exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language made by translation under the responsibility of a CEN and CENELEC member into its own language and notified to the CEN Management Centre has the same status as the official versions.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2010.
