Protective clothing for professional motorcycle riders - Jackets, trousers and one piece or divided suits - Part 1: General requirements
This European Standard specifies general requirements for professional motorcycle riders jackets, trousers and one-piece or divided suits which are intended to protect the wearer against mechanical injury, it does not apply to motor sport competition events organised by Federation. It also specifies appropriate test methods.

Sie findet keine Anwendung bei Motorsportveranstaltungen, die durch Verbände organisiert werden.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences générales applicables aux vêtements réservés aux motocyclistes professionnels, tels que vestes, pantalons et combinaisons une ou deux pièces conçus pour protéger la personne qui les porte de toute blessure d'origine mécanique ; elle ne s'applique pas aux compétitions sportives organisées par la Fédération. Elle précise également les méthodes d'essai appropriées qui servent à évaluer leur conformité à ces mêmes exigences.
