Vegetable fats and oils - Isomeric diacylglycerols - Determination of relative amounts of 1,2- and 1,3-diacylglycerols (ISO 29822:2009)

ISO 29822:2009 specifies the determination of the degree of isomerization of diacylglycerols in vegetable fats and oils. 1,2-Diacylglycerols are transformed to the more stable 1,3-isomers during storage or due to acidic catalysed reaction.
The mass fraction of 1,2-diacylglycerols can be used as a quality criterion for vegetable fats and oils.

Diese Internationale Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Grads der Isomerisierung von Diacylglyceriden in pflanzlichen Fetten und Ölen. 1,2-Diacylglyceride werden während der Lagerung oder durch säurekatalysierte Reaktion in stabilere 1,3-Isomere umgewandelt.
Der Massenanteil von 1,2-Diacylglyceriden kann als Qualitätskriterium für pflanzliche Fette und Öle dienen.

L'ISO 29822:2009 spécifie la détermination du degré d'isomérisation des diacylglycérols dans les corps gras d'origine végétale. Les 1,2‑diacylglycérols sont convertis en 1,3‑isomères plus stables durant la conservation ou par catalyse acide.
La fraction massique de 1,2‑diacylglycérols peut constituer un critère de qualité des corps gras d'origine végétale.

Rastlinske maščobe in olja - Izomerični diacilgliceroli - Določevanje relativnih deležev 1,2- in 1,3-diacilglicerolov (ISO 29822:2009)

Standard EN ISO 29822 določa ugotavljanje stopnje izomerizacije diacilglicerolov v rastlinskih maščobah in oljih. 1,2-diacilgliceroli se med shranjevanjem ali zaradi kislinske katalizne reakcije pretvorijo v stabilnejše 1,3-izomere. Masni delež 1,2-diacilglicerolov se lahko uporabi kot merilo kakovosti za rastlinske maščobe in olja.

The text of ISO 29822:2009 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 34 “Food products” of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 29822:2014 by
Technical Committee CEN/TC 307 “Oilseeds, vegetable and animal fats and oils and their by-products -
Methods of sampling and analysis” the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2014, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by October 2014.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
