This part of EN 13476, together with EN 13476-1, specifies the definitions and requirements for pipes, fittings and the system based on unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U), polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) structured-wall piping systems that are intended to be used for non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage systems.
This part is applicable to pipes and fittings with smooth internal and external surfaces, designated as Type A.
It specifies test methods and test parameters as well as requirements.
This part is applicable to:
a)   structured-wall pipes and fittings, which are intended to be used buried underground outside the building structure; reflected in the marking of products by "U";
b)   structured-wall pipes and fittings, which are intended to be used buried underground both outside (application area code "U") and within the building structure (application area code "D"); reflected in the marking of products by "UD".
This part is applicable to structured-wall pipes and fittings with or without an integral socket with elastomeric ring seal joints as well as welded and fused joints.
This part covers a range of pipe and fitting sizes, materials, pipe constructions, stiffness classes, application classes, and tolerance classes and gives recommendations concerning colours.
NOTE   It is the responsibility of the purchaser or specifier to make the appropriate selections from these aspects, taking into account their particular requirements and any relevant national regulations and installation practices or codes.

Dieser Teil von EN 13476 legt gemeinsam mit EN 13476 1 die Definitionen und Anforderungen für Rohre, Formstücke und das Rohrleitungssystem aus weichmacherfreiem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC U), Polypropylen (PP) und Polyethylen (PE) mit profilierter Wandung fest, die zur Verwendung für erdverlegte, drucklos betriebene Abwasserkanäle und  leitungen vorgesehen sind.
Dieser Teil gilt für Rohre und Formstücke mit glatten Innen- und Außenflächen, bezeichnet als Typ A.
Es werden sowohl Prüfverfahren und Prüfparameter als auch Anforderungen festgelegt.
Dieser Teil gilt für:
a) Rohre und Formstücke mit profilierter Wandung, die ausschließlich für erdverlegte Anwendungen außerhalb einer Gebäudestruktur vorgesehen sind; angezeigt durch Kennzeichnung der Erzeugnisse mit „U“;
b) Rohre und Formstücke mit profilierter Wandung, die sowohl für erdverlegte Anwendungen außerhalb der Gebäudestruktur (Anwendungskennzeichen „U“) als auch innerhalb einer Gebäudestruktur (Anwendungskennzeichen „D“) vorgesehen sind; angezeigt durch Kennzeichnung der Erzeugnisse mit „UD“.
Dieser Teil gilt für Rohre und Formstücke mit profilierter Wandung sowohl mit glatten Enden als auch mit geformter Muffe mit elastomeren Dichtringverbindungen bzw. Verbindung durch Heizelement-Stumpf-, Extru¬sions- oder Heizwendelschweißen.
Diese Norm umfasst verschiedene Maße von Rohren und Formstücken, Werkstoffe, Rohrkonstruktionen, Steifigkeitsklassen sowie Anwendungs- und Toleranzklassen und gibt Empfehlungen für die Einfärbung.
ANMERKUNG Der Käufer bzw. Auftraggeber ist unter Berücksichtigung der eigenen Anforderungen sowie der geltenden nationalen Festlegungen und Verlegepraktiken und  vorschriften für die entsprechende Auswahl dieser Kriterien verantwortlich.

La présente partie de l’EN 13476, conjointement avec l’EN 13476-1, spécifie les définitions et les exigences pour les tubes, les raccords et le système pour des systèmes de canalisations à parois structurées fabriqués à partir de poly(chlorure de vinyle) non plastifié (PVC U), polypropylène (PP) et polyéthylène (PE), destinés à être utilisés pour des systèmes de branchements et de collecteurs d'assainissement enterrés sans pression.
La présente partie s'applique aux tubes et raccords avec une surface interne et externe lisses, désignés de Type A.
Elle spécifie les méthodes d'essai et les paramètres d'essai ainsi que les exigences.
La présente partie s'applique aux :
a)   tubes et raccords à parois structurées, destinés à être utilisés enterrés à l'extérieur de la structure du bâtiment ; ce qui est reflété au niveau du marquage des produits par « U » ;
b)   tubes et raccords à parois structurées, destinés à être utilisés enterrés, aussi bien à l'extérieur (code de la zone d’application « U ») qu’à l'intérieur de la structure des bâtiments (code de la zone d’application « D ») ; ce qui est reflété au niveau du marquage des produits par « UD ».
La présente partie s'applique aux tubes et raccords à parois structurées avec ou sans emboîture intégrée qui comprennent des assemblages à bague d'étanchéité en élastomère ainsi que des assemblages soudés et les assemblages obtenus par fusion.
La présente partie couvre une gamme de dimensions de tubes et de raccords, de matières, de constructions de tube, de classes de rigidité, de classes d'application et de classes de tolérance et donne des recommandations concernant les couleurs.
NOTE   Il est de la responsabilité de l'acheteur ou du concepteur du réseau de faire les sélections appropriées à partir de ces aspects, en tenant compte des exigences particulières et des règles nationales et des pratiques ou codes de pose pertinents.
