Industrial trucks - Additional requirements for automated functions on trucks (ISO 24134:2006)
ISO 24134:2006 specifies the safety requirements for controls and control systems for the following automated functions of industrial trucks: steering (excluding direct mechanical guidance); travel; lifting and lowering operations; load manipulations, e.g. rotation, reach, slewing, tilting, clamping; combination and/or sequence of these movements.
ISO 24134:2006 is intended for use in conjunction with one or more of the applicable parts of ISO 3691. It is not applicable to, and does not include, requirements for the following: safety equipment (e.g. devices for height limitation, speed limitation) used to override driver control; operation in severe conditions (e.g. extreme climates, freezer applications, strong magnetic fields); operation in environments subject to special rules (e.g. potentially explosive atmospheres); electromagnetic compatibility; transportation of passengers; handling of loads, the nature of which could lead to dangerous situations (e.g. molten metals, acids/bases, radiating materials).
Limitations in the scopes of the applicable parts of ISO 3691 also apply to ISO 24134:2006.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen an Stellteile und Steuerungssysteme für die folgenden automatischen Funktionen von Flurförderzeugen fest:
— Lenkung (unter Ausschluss einer direkten mechanischen Führung);
— Fahrbewegungen;
— Hub und Senkvorgänge;
— Lastmanipulationen, z. B. Drehen, Ausschieben, Schwenken, Neigen, Festhalten;
— Kombination und/oder aufeinanderfolgende Bewegungen der vorgenannten Arten.
ANMERKUNG Das Steuerungssystem ist normalerweise Teil des Flurförderzeugs, aber es kann ebenfalls externe Komponenten enthalten, z. B. die Einrichtungen zur Führung bei automatischer Lenkung.
Diese Internationale Norm ist vorgesehen, zusammen mit einem oder mehreren der zutreffenden Teile von ISO 3691 angewendet zu werden.
Diese Internationale Norm gilt nicht für und enthält keine Anforderungen an Folgendes:
— Sicherheitseinrichtungen (z. B. Einrichtungen zur Höhenbegrenzung, Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung), mit denen die Stellteile übersteuert werden;
— Betrieb unter erschwerten Bedingungen (z. B. extremes Klima, Anwendung in Kühlräumen, starke Magnetfelder);
— Betrieb in Umgebungen, für die besondere Regelungen bestehen (z. B. explosionsgefährdete Atmosphären);
— elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit;
— Personentransport;
— Handhabung von Lasten, deren Eigenschaften zu gefährlichen Situationen führen könnten (z. B. geschmolzene Metalle, Säuren/Basen, (radioaktiv) strahlende Materialien).
Die Beschränkungen in den Anwendungsbereichen der zutreffenden Teile von ISO 3691 gelten gleichermaßen für diese Internationale Norm.

L'ISO 24134:2006 traite des exigences de sécurité relatives aux commandes et aux systèmes de commande pour les fonctions automatiques suivantes des chariots de manutention: direction (à l'exclusion du guidage mécanique direct); roulage; opérations de levage et de descente; déplacements de la charge, comme par exemple la rotation, la rétraction, le pivotement, l'inclinaison, le serrage; combinaison et/ou une séquence des mouvements précédents.
L'ISO 24134:2006 est destinée à être utilisée conjointement avec une ou plusieurs des parties adaptées de l'ISO 3691.
L'ISO 24134:2006 ne s'applique pas aux cas suivants et ne définit pas les exigences correspondantes: équipement de sécurité (par exemple dispositifs de limitation de la hauteur, limiteurs de vitesse) qui a priorité sur la commande de l'opérateur; utilisation dans des conditions sévères (par exemple climats extrêmes, chambres froides, champs magnétiques élevés); utilisation dans des environnements soumis à des règles particulières (par exemple atmosphères explosibles); compatibilité électromagnétique; transport de passagers; manutention de charges dont la nature peut s'avérer dangereuse (par exemple métal fondu, acides/bases, matériaux irradiants ou rayonnants).
Les limitations dans les domaines d'application des parties adaptées de l'ISO 3691 s'appliquent aussi à l'ISO 24134:2006.

Standard ISO 24134:2006 določa varnostne zahteve za krmilnike in krmilne sisteme za avtomatiko na vozilih za talni transport: krmiljenje (razen neposrednega mehanskega krmiljenja); pomikanje; dvigovanje in spuščanje; ravnanje s tovorom, npr. obračanje, doseg, vrtljivi mehanizem, nagibanje, pritrjevanje; kombinacija in/ali zaporedje teh gibanj.
Standard ISO 24134:2006 je predviden za uporabo v povezavi z enim ali več ustreznimi deli standarda ISO 3691. Ne uporablja se in ne vključuje zahtev za: varnostno opremo (npr. naprave za omejitev višine, omejitev hitrosti), ki se uporabljajo za preglasitev voznikovega upravljanja; obratovanje v težkih pogojih (npr. skrajne podnebne razmere, zmrzal, močna magnetna polja); obratovanje v okoljih po posebnih pravilih (npr. v potencialno eksplozivnem okolju); elektromagnetno združljivost; transport potnikov; ravnanje z nevarnimi tovori, ki lahko povzročijo nevarne razmere (npr. taljene kovine, kisline/baze, sevajoči materiali).
Omejitve v ustreznih delih standarda ISO 3691 veljajo tudi za standard ISO 24134:2006.

The text of ISO 24134:2006 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 110 "Industrial trucks”
of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as
EN ISO 24134:2018 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 150 “Industrial Trucks - Safety” the secretariat of
which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2019, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by April 2019.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 1526:1997+A1:2008.
According to the CEN-CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the
