Glass in building - Adhesive backed polymeric filmed glass - Part 1: Definitions and requirements
This European Standard defines the characteristics, properties and classification of adhesive backed polymeric filmed glass, i.e. glass product that has had an adhesive backed polymeric film applied, for use in buildings. The adhesive backed polymeric film is based on biaxially oriented polyester film as defined in
FprEN 15752-1. This applies to both site and factory applications.
This European Standard does not apply to adhesive backed polymeric films manufactured using polyvinylchloride (PVC).
Other requirements, not specified in this standard, may apply to adhesive backed polymeric filmed glass that is incorporated into assemblies, e.g. laminated glass or insulating glass units. The additional requirements are specified in the appropriate product standard. Adhesive backed polymeric filmed glass, in this case, does not lose its mechanical or thermal characteristics.

Die vorliegende Europäische Norm definiert die Merkmale, Eigenschaften und die Klassifizierung von Glas mit selbstklebender Polymerfolie für die Verwendung in Gebäuden, d. h. von Glas, auf das eine selbstklebende Polymerfolie aufgebracht wurde. Die selbstklebende Polymerfolie basiert auf biaxial orientierter Polyesterfolie nach FprEN 15752 1. Sie gilt für Anwendungen vor Ort und im Werk.
Die vorliegende Europäische Norm gilt nicht für selbstklebende Polymerfolien, die aus Polyvinylchlorid (PVC) hergestellt wurden.
Weitere in dieser Norm nicht festgelegte Anforderungen dürfen für Glas mit selbstklebender Polymerfolie gelten, das in Baugruppen eingebaut ist, z. B. Mehrscheibenglas- oder Isolierglaseinheiten. Die zusätzlichen Anforderungen sind in der entsprechenden Produktnorm festgelegt. In diesem Fall verliert das Glas mit selbstklebender Polymerfolie seine mechanischen oder thermischen Eigenschaften nicht.

La présente Norme européenne définit les caractéristiques, les propriétés et la classification des verres filmés, c’est-à-dire des produits verriers auxquels on a appliqué un film polymère adhésif et qui sont destinés à être employés dans la construction. La base du film polymère adhésif est un film polyester à orientation biaxiale, comme défini dans la FprEN 15752-1. Cette définition s’applique aux applications sur site et en usine.
La présente Norme européenne ne s’applique pas aux films polymères adhésifs fabriqués à partir de chlorure de polyvinyle (PVC).
D’autres exigences, qui ne sont pas spécifiées dans la présente norme, peuvent s’appliquer au verre revêtu d’un film polymère adhésif lorsqu’il est incorporé à des assemblages, par exemple des vitrages en verre feuilleté ou des vitrages isolants. Ces exigences supplémentaires sont spécifiées dans la norme de produit correspondante. Dans ce cas, le film polymère adhésif ne perd pas ses caractéristiques mécaniques ou thermiques.

Ta evropski standard določa karakteristike, lastnosti in klasifikacijo stekla s samolepljivo polimerno folijo, tj. steklenega proizvoda z naneseno samolepljivo polimerno folijo, ki se uporablja
v stavbah. Ta samolepljiva polimerna folija je izdelana na podlagi dvoosno obrnjene poliestrske folije, kot je opredeljeno v standardu EN 15752-1. To velja za uporabo na kraju samem in v tovarni. Ta evropski standard se ne uporablja za samolepljivo polimerno folijo, proizvedeno z uporabo polivinilklorida (PVC). Druge zahteve, ki niso določene v tem standardu, se lahko uporabljajo za steklo s samolepljivo polimerno folijo, ki je vgrajeno v sestave, npr. lepljeno steklo ali izolacijsko steklo. Dodatne zahteve so določene v ustreznem standardu za izdelek. Steklo s samolepljivo polimerno folijo v tem primeru ne izgubi mehanskih ali toplotnih lastnosti.
