The European Standard specifies the requirements, test methods, information supplied by the manufacturer and marking for guided type fall arresters including a rigid anchorage line usually attached to or integrated in climbing ladders or climbing iron tracks adequately adjusted to suitable structures.

La présente Norme européenne fixe les exigences, les méthodes d'essai, le marquage, la notice d'information du fabricant et l'emballage des antichutes mobiles pour supports d'assurage rigides généralement fixés ou intégrés à des échelles ou à des barreaux d'ascension fixés de manière adéquate sur des structures appropriées. Les antichutes mobiles pour supports d’arrimage rigides conformes à la présente Norme européenne sont des sous-systèmes qui constituent l'un des systèmes d'arrêt des chutes couverts par l'EN 363 lorsqu'ils sont associés à un harnais d'antichute spécifié dans l'EN 361 comprenant un point d'accrochage frontal placé de manière appropriée par rapport à l'antichute. D'autres types d'antichutes sont spécifiés dans l'EN 353-2 ou dans l'EN 360.
