This document specifies the equipment and procedures for determining the short‑term water absorption of specimens by partial immersion. It is applicable to thermal insulating products.
NOTE       It is intended to simulate the water absorption caused by a 24 h raining period during construction work.

Dieses Dokument legt Prüfeinrichtungen und Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Wasseraufnahme von Probekörpern bei kurzzeitigem teilweisem Eintauchen fest. Sie gilt für Wärmedämmstoffe.
ANMERKUNG   Mit dem Verfahren kann die Wasseraufnahme simuliert werden, die bei einer 24-stündigen Regenperiode während der Bauzeit auftritt.

Le présent document spécifie l'équipement et les modes opératoires permettant de déterminer l'absorption d'eau à court terme par des éprouvettes en immersion partielle. Il s'applique aux produits isolants thermiques.
NOTE       Il est destiné à simuler l'absorption d'eau provoquée par une période de pluie de 24 h lors de travaux de construction.

Ta mednarodni standard določa opremo in postopke za ugotavljanje vpojnosti vode primerkov z delno potopitvijo po kratkotrajnem postopku. Uporablja se za toplotnoizolacijske proizvode.
OPOMBA: Namenjen je simulaciji vpijanja vode pri 24-urnem deževnem obdobju med gradnjo.

This document (EN ISO 29767:2019) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 163 "Thermal
performance and energy use in the built environment" in collaboration with Technical Committee
CEN/TC 88 “Thermal insulating materials and products” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by January 2020, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by January 2020.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 1609:2013.
According to the CEN-CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the
