IEC 62822-1:2016 is a product family standard, applies to equipment for resistance welding, arc welding and allied processes designed for occupational use by professionals and for use by laymen.

L'IEC 62822-1:2016, qui est une norme de famille de produits s'applique aux matériels de soudage par résistance, de soudage à l'arc et techniques connexes conçus pour un usage professionnel et non professionnel.

Ta del standarda IEC 62822 iz skupine standardov za proizvode se uporablja za opremo za uporovno varjenje, obločno varjenje in sorodne postopke, zasnovano za uporabo pri delu strokovnjakov in laikov.
OPOMBA 1: Običajni povezani procesi so uporovno trdo ali mehko spajkanje, uporovno gretje na način, primerljiv z opremo za uporovno varjenje, električno obločno rezanje in brizganje.
Zajet frekvenčni razpon je od 0 Hz do 300 GHz. Ta standard iz skupine standardov za proizvode določa metode in merila za ocenjevanje emisij elektromagnetnega polja (EMF) električne opreme za varjenje v povezavi z nacionalnimi ter mednarodnimi zahtevami glede izpostavljenosti oseb elektromagnetnemu polju.
OPOMBA 2: Glavni predmet ocenjevanja so magnetna polja, ki se ustvarijo pri delovanju varilne opreme, in posledični učinki, ki niso vezani na toploto.
Ta standard iz skupine standardov za proizvode ne določa zahtev in metod za oceno delovnega mesta v povezavi s tveganji zaradi elektromagnetnih polj. Vendar se podatki o izpostavljenosti elektromagnetnemu polju, ki se pridobijo na podlagi uporabe tega standarda iz skupine standardov za proizvode, lahko uporabijo kot pomoč pri ocenjevanju delovnega mesta.
OPOMBA 3: Proizvajalec opreme ne pozna celotnega okolja izpostavljenosti, v katerem bo oprema uporabljena (npr. več virov) in ni odgovoren za vse zahteve za ocenjevanje delovnega mesta (npr. informacije in usposabljanje delavcev, zasnova in postavitev delovnega mesta).

Ne določa nobenih varnostnih zahtev za proizvode, razen tistih, ki se posebej navezujejo na izpostavljenost delavcev elektromagnetnim poljem.

welding" was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and approved by CENELEC as
EN IEC 62822-1:2018.
The following dates are fixed:
• latest date by which the document has to be implemented at national (dop) 2019-06-28
level by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement
• latest date by which the national standards conflicting with the (dow) 2021-09-28
document have to be withdrawn

This document supersedes EN 50445:2008.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
