Electric dishwashers for household use - Methods for measuring the performance

This standard applies to electric dishwashers for household use that are supplied with hot and/or cold water. The object is to state and define the principal performance characteristics of electric dishwashers for household use and to describe the standard methods of measuring these characteristics. This standard is concerned neither with safety nor with performance requirements.

La présente norme s'applique aux lave-vaisselle électriques à usage domestique alimentés en eau chaude et/ou froide. L'objet de la présente norme est d'établir et de définir les caractéristiques principales d'aptitude à la fonction des lave-vaisselle électriques à usage domestique et de décrire les méthodes normalisées de mesure de ces caractéristiques. La présente norme ne traite ni des exigences de sécurité ni de celles relatives à l'aptitude à la fonction.

Z mandatom 481 je Evropska komisija zadolžila odbor Cenelec, da preveri trenutne preskusne standarde in prepreči, da bi se jim uporabniki med preskusi za energetsko označevanje lahko izognili. Pomivalni stroj naj se z uporabo drugačnih senzorjev ne bi odzval na določen preskusni scenarij. Ker se pri preskušanju pranja uporablja umazano perilo, pri preskušanju sušenja pa ne, preskusna scenarija nista enaka.  Predlagane so bile različne rešitve, ki pa niso bile ustrezne. Končno je bilo določeno, da se preskusi ustreznost skupnega ocenjevanja pranja in sušenja (CCD).  Metoda se doda na novo oštevilčenemu standardu EN60436.

This document (EN 50242:2016 / EN 60436:2016) consists of the text of IEC 60436:2004,
IEC 60436:2004/A1:2009 and IEC 60436:2004/A2:2012 prepared by SC 59A "Electric dishwashers" of
IEC/TC 59 "Performance of household and similar electrical appliances", together with the common
modifications prepared by CLC/TC 59X "Performance of household and similar electrical appliances".
The following dates are fixed:

This document supersedes EN 50242:2008 / EN 60436:2008.
EN 50242:2016 / EN 60436:2016 includes the following significant technical changes with respect to
EN 50242:2008 / EN 60436:2008:
a) introduction of new combined cleaning and drying performance assessment (Clause 7);
b) new data on expanded measurement uncertainty (Annex ZB);
c) new Annexes ZZA, ZZB and ZZC.
Clauses, subclauses, notes, tables, figures and annexes which are additional to those in IEC 60436:2004,
IEC 60436:2004/A1:2009 and IEC 60436:2004/A2:2012 are prefixed “Z”.
In this document, the common modifications to the International Standards are indicated in red.
