Ta standard se uporablja za radiatorje, ki so nameščeni na v tekočini potopljenih močnostnih transformatorjih v skladu s standardom IEC 60076-1 in reaktorje v skladu s standardom IEC 60076-6 z raztezno posodo in brez nje za notranjo ter zunanjo namestitev. V njem so opisani servisni pogoji ter mehanske in električne zahteve, ki so skupne tej opremi. Določa tudi obratovalne zahteve za posamezno opremo in prednostne dimenzije, ki so pomembne za izmenljivost ter rutinske in tipske preskuse, ki jih je treba opraviti.
