Generic standard for assessment of electronic and electrical equipment related to human exposure restrictions for electromagnetic fields (0 Hz - 300 GHz)

The object of this generic standard is to provide a route for evaluation of such equipment against limits on human exposure to electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields, and induced and contact current. This standard applies to electronic and electrical equipment for which no dedicated product- or product family standard, or standard relating to low power equipment, regarding human exposure to electromagnetic fields exists. If such a standard does exist then it shall be used and this standard shall not. The frequency range covered is 0 Hz to 300 GHz. This standard is intended to cover both intentional and non-intentional radiators. It should be noted that the supplier of a specific piece of equipment might not know the overall exposure environment in which the equipment is being used. This product standard can only assess the human exposure from the specific equipment under evaluation. Other standards can apply to products covered by this document. In particular this document is not designed to evaluate the electromagnetic compatibility with other equipment; nor does it reflect any product safety requirements other than those specifically related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields.

Norme générique relative à l'évaluation des équipements électroniques et électriques en relation avec les restrictions d'exposition humaine aux champs électromagnétiques (0 Hz - 300 GHz)

La présente norme générique est destinée à fournir un mode d'évaluation des équipements en ce qui concerne les limites d'exposition des personnes aux champs électriques, magnétiques et électromagnétiques ainsi qu'au courant induit et de contact. La présente norme s'applique aux équipements électriques et électroniques pour lesquels il n'existe aucune norme de produit ou de famille de produit dédiée, ni aucune norme relative à un appareil de faible puissance, concernant l'exposition des personnes aux champs électromagnétiques. Si une telle norme existe, elle doit être utilisée en lieu et place de la présente norme. La plage de fréquences couverte va de 0 Hz à 300 GHz. Cette norme est destinée à couvrir les éléments rayonnants intentionnels et non intentionnels. Il convient de noter que le fournisseur d'un élément spécifique d'un dispositif peut ne pas connaître l'environnement global d'exposition dans lequel le dispositif est utilisé. Cette norme de produit peut seulement évaluer l'exposition des personnes due à l'équipement spécifique en évaluation. D'autres normes peuvent s'appliquer aux produits couverts par le présent document. En particulier, ce document n'est pas destiné à évaluer la compatibilité électromagnétique avec d'autres appareils, et il ne reflète pas les exigences de sécurité du produit autres que celles liées spécifiquement à l'exposition des personnes aux champs électromagnétiques.

Splošni standard za oceno elektronske in električne opreme glede omejevanja izpostavljenosti ljudi elektromagnetnemu sevanju (0 Hz–300 GHz)

Namen tega splošnega standarda je opredelitev načina vrednotenja take opreme v povezavi z omejitvami glede izpostavljenosti ljudi električnim, magnetnim in elektromagnetnim poljem ter induciranemu in kontaktnemu toku.
Ta standard se uporablja za elektronsko in električno opremo, za katero ne obstaja noben ustrezen standard ali skupina standardov za proizvode (ali standard za nizkonapetostno opremo) v povezavi z izpostavljenostjo ljudi elektromagnetnemu poljem. Če tak standard obstaja, ga je treba uporabiti namesto tega standarda.
Zajet frekvenčni razpon je od 0 Hz do 300 GHz.
