This document describes the methods for the determination of diameter and length of pellets. Concerning the pellet length methods for both determination of the proportion of oversized pellets and for the determination of the average length are included.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Durchmesser und Länge von Pellets fest. Hinsichtlich der Pelletlänge sind sowohl Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Anteils an übergroßen Pellets als auch zur Bestimmung der durchschnittlichen Länge enthalten.

ISO 17829:2015 spécifie les méthodes permettant de déterminer le diamètre et la longueur des granulés. Pour ce qui concerne la longueur des granulés, la présente Norme internationale comprend une méthode de détermination de la proportion des granulés de longueur supérieure aux spécifications et une méthode de détermination de la longueur moyenne des granulés.

This document (EN ISO 17829:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 238 "Solid
biofuels" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 335 “Solid biofuels” the secretariat of
which is held by SIS.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2016, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by May 2016.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent

This document supersedes EN 16127:2012.
