Manufactured articles solely filled with feather and down - Requirements for upholstered parts and cushions
This European Standard specifies the characteristics for new semi-finished products, i.e. cushions and other upholstered elements solely filled with feathers and/or down, to their primary tick and their filling.
It does not apply to their cover nor to support they are meant for.
Characteristics to be agreed upon by the purchaser and the converter are given in annex A (informative).

Die vorliegende Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Halbfertigprodukten fest, d.h. von Kissen und weiteren gepolsterten Teilen, die nur mit Federn und/oder Daunen gefüllt sind, die Umhüllung und deren Füllung. Sie gilt weder für die Außenhülle noch für die Unterlage, für die sie vorgesehen sind. Die vorliegende Norm enthält einen Anhang A (informativ), in dem die zwischen Käufer und Zulieferer zu vereinbarenden Eigenschaften aufgeführt sind.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les caractéristiques des nouveaux produits semi finis, a savoir les coussins et autres éléments rembourrés garnis uniquement de plumes et/ou duvets, ainsi que de leurs enveloppes extérieures et de leurs garnissages.
Elle ne s'applique pas a leurs housses ni aux supports auxquels ces produits sont destinés.
La présente norme comprend également une annexe donnant les caractéristiques qui doivent faire l'objet d'un accord entre l'acheteur et le transformateur.
