Photovoltaic (PV) module performance testing and energy rating - Part 4: Standard reference climatic profiles

This part of IEC 61853 describes the standard reference climatic profiles used for calculating
energy ratings.
IEC 61853-1 describes requirements for evaluating PV module performance in terms of power
(watts) rating. IEC 61853-2 describes test procedures for determining module temperature
from irradiance, ambient temperature and wind speed, a method for measuring angle of
incidence effects, and spectral responsivity. IEC 61853-3 describes the calculation of PV
module energy rating values, using the data from IEC 61853-1, IEC 61853-2 and
IEC 61853-4.

IEC 61853-1 opisuje zahteve za vrednotenje zmogljivosti fotonapetostnega modula v vrednostih za moč (W). IEC 61853-2 opisuje preskusne postopke za določanje temperature modula pri sevanju, temperaturi okolice in hitrosti vetra, metodo za merjenje učinkov vpadnega kota ter spektralni odziv. IEC 61853-3 opisuje izračun vrednosti energijske učinkovitosti fotonapetostnega (PV) modula na podlagi podatkov iz standardov IEC 61853-1, IEC 61853-2 in IEC 61853-4.

FOREWORD
1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising
all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote
international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To
this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications,
Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as “IEC
Publication(s)”). Their preparation is entrusted to technical committees; any IEC National Committee interested
in the subject dealt with may participate in this preparatory work. International, governmental and
non-governmental organizations liaising with the IEC also participate in this preparation. IEC collaborates
closely with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in accordance with conditions determined
by agreement between the two organizations.
2) The formal decisions or agreements of IEC on technical matters express, as nearly as possible, an international
