This part of ISO 1833 specifies a method, using dichloromethane, to determine the percentage of triacetate, after removal of non-fibrous matter, in textiles made of binary mixtures of - triacetate or polylactide and - wool, regenerated protein, cotton (scoured, kiered, or bleached), viscose, cupro, modal, polyamide, polyester, acrylic and glass fibres. Triacetate fibres which have received a finish leading to partial hydrolysis cease to be completely soluble in the reagent. In such cases, this method is not applicable.

In diesem Teil der ISO 1833 wird ein Dichlormethan Verfahren zur Bestimmung des prozentualen Anteils an Triacetat, nach dem Abtrennen der nichtfaserigen Begleitstoffe, in Textilien aus binären Fasermischungen aus
   Triacetat  oder Polylactidfasern
und
   Wolle, regenerierter Proteinfaser, Baumwolle (entschlichtet, gebeucht oder gebleicht), Viskose, Cupro, Modal, Polyamid, Polyester, Polyacryl und Glasfaser
festgelegt.
Triacetatfasern, die eine Ausrüstung erhalten haben, die zur einer partiellen Hydrolyse führt, sind in dem Reagenz nicht mehr vollständig löslich. In diesen Fällen ist dieses Verfahren nicht anwendbar.

L'ISO 1833-10:2006 spécifie une méthode de détermination, au dichlorométhane, du pourcentage de triacétate, après élimination des matières non fibreuses, dans les textiles composés de mélanges binaires de triacétate ou polylactide et de laine, protéines régénérées, coton (lavé, débouilli ou blanchi), viscose, cupro, modal, polyamide, polyester, acrylique et fibres de verre.
Les fibres de triacétate qui ont reçu un traitement d'apprêt conduisant à une hydrolyse partielle ne sont plus entièrement solubles dans le réactif. Dans ce cas, la présente méthode ne s'applique pas.

Ta del standarda ISO 1833 določa metodo z uporabo diklormetana za ugotavljanje odstotne vrednosti triacetata po odstranitvi nevlakenske snovi v tekstilijah iz dvokomponentnih mešanic - triacetata in polilaktida in - volne, regeneriranih proteinskih vlaken, bombaža (izkuhanega, razškrobljenega ali beljenega), viskoze, kupro vlaken, modalnih vlaken, poliamidnih, poliestrskih, akrilnih in steklenih vlaken. Triacetatna vlakna z apreturo, ki je povzročila delno hidrolizo, niso več popolnoma topna v reagentu. V takih primerih se ta metoda ne uporablja.

The text of ISO 1833-10:2006 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 38 “Textiles” of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 1833-10:2010 by
Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile products”, the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the
latest by April 2011.
