- 5 -EN 122340:2002Document numbering for RF connector specifications is in the process of conversion to conformwith CENELEC PNE Rules, affecting generic, sectional and blank detail specifications but notCECC detail specifications.Detail specifications (DS) shall be prepared using general blank detail specifications (BDS)EN 122001 (for military connectors), EN 122002 (for commercial connectors). When completed, the detail specification (DS) applicable to this sectional specification (SS) shallbe renumbered in accordance with 4.2 of CECC 00 700 (Section IV) Issue 1, as if a 'dedicatedBDS’ EN 122341 had been used.

EN 122340:2002- 6 -1ScopeThis sectional specification (SS) provides information and rules for the preparation of detailspecifications (DS) for miniature snap-on interfaces for use with both flexible and semi-rigidcoaxial cables (Series MMCX). The connectors are usable to a frequency of at least 6 GHz.It prescribes mating-face dimensions for general purpose connectors, dimensional details forstandard test connectors, Grade 0, together with gauging information and the mandatory tests, selected from CECC 22 000, applicable to all DSs relating to Series MMCX connectors. This specification indicates the recommended performance characteristics to be considered whenwriting a DS, and covers test schedules and inspection requirements for Assessment Level H.2Mating face and gauge information2.1Dimensions - General purpose connectorsMetric dimensions are original dimensions.
