Protective clothing - Protective jackets, body and shoulder protectors for horse riders - Requirements and test methods

This Standard specifies the coverage to be provided by protective jackets, body and shoulder protectors to be worn by children, youths and adults of either sex while riding horses. The Standard contains the requirements for the performance of the protectors under impact and details of the test methods. Requirements for sizing, marking and the provision of information are given.

Diese Norm legt fest, welche Abdeckung durch Schutzjacken, Körper- und Schulterschützer für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene beiderlei Geschlechts beim Reiten gegeben sein muß. Die Norm enthält Anforderungen an die Leistung der Schutzvorrichtungen bei Stößen sowie Einzelheiten zu den Prüfverfahren. Ferner enthält sie Anforderungen an die Größenangabe, Kennzeichnung und an die mitzuliefernden Informationen.

La présente norme spécifie la zone de protection des vestes, gilets de protection et protège-épaules portés par les enfants, les adolescents et les adultes des deux sexes, lorsqu'ils montent à cheval. La norme contient les exigences relatives aux performances des protections lors d'un impact, le détail des méthodes d'essai ainsi que les exigences de tailles, de marquage et d'information sur les produits.
