Textiles - Quantitative chemical analysis - Part 20: Mixtures of elastane and certain other fibres (method using dimethylacetamide) (ISO 1833-20:2009)

ISO 1833-20:2009 specifies a method using dimethylacetamide to determine the
percentage of elastane, after removal of non-fibrous matter, in textiles made of binary mixtures of certain elastane fibres with cotton, viscose, cupro, modal, polyamide, polyester or wool fibres.
This method is not applicable when acrylic fibres are present.

Dieser Teil von ISO 1833 legt ein Dimethylacetamid-Verfahren zur Bestimmung des prozentualen Anteils an
Elastan, nach dem Abtrennen der nichtfaserigen Bestandteile, in Textilien aus binären Mischungen
bestimmter Elastanfasern mit Baumwoll-, Viskose-, Cupro-, Modal-, Polyamid-, Polyester- oder Wollfasern
fest.
Dieses Verfahren ist nicht anwendbar, wenn Polyacrylfasern vorhanden sind.
WARNUNG — Der vorliegende Teil von ISO 1833 erfordert die Anwendung von Substanzen/Verfahrensweisen,
die für die Gesundheit und Umwelt schädlich sein können, wenn die entsprechenden
Bedingungen nicht eingehalten werden. Es wird nur auf die technische Eignung Bezug genommen
und der Anwender wird zu keinem Zeitpunkt von den rechtlichen Verpflichtungen in Bezug auf Sicherheit
und Umwelt entbunden.

L'ISO 1833-20:2009 spécifie une méthode utilisant la diméthylacétamide pour déterminer le pourcentage d'élasthanne, après élimination des matières non fibreuses, dans des textiles réalisés à partir de mélanges binaires de certaines fibres d'élasthanne avec des fibres de coton, de viscose, de cupro, de modal, de polyamide, de polyester ou de laine.
Cette méthode n'est pas applicable en présence de fibres d'acrylique.

Ta del standarda ISO 1833 določa metodo z uporabo dimetilacetamida za ugotavljanje odstotne vrednosti elastana po odstranitvi nevlakenske snovi v tekstilijah iz dvokomponentnih mešanic določenih elastanskih vlaken in bombažnih, viskoznih, kupro vlaken, modalnih vlaken, poliamidnih, poliestrskih ali volnenih vlaken. Ta metoda se ne uporablja, kadar so prisotna akrilna vlakna.

The text of ISO 1833-20:2009 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 38 “Textiles” of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 1833-20:2010 by
Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile products” the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the
latest by April 2011.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
