Windows and doors - Soft and heavy body impact - Test method, safety requirements and classification

This Standard defines the method of test, requirements and classification when determining the effect on a window impacted with a soft and heavy body. Any secondary moving sashes casements or fixed lights which may be mounted internally to the main casements or sashes, shall also be similarly tested. The test applies to all infillings of whatever materials including glass. The test has been devised to suit all window types, configurations and materials.

Dieses Dokument legt das Prüfverfahren, die Sicherheitsanforderungen und die Klassifizierung zur Bestim
mung der Belastung eines Fensters oder einer Tür mit einem weichen, schweren Stoßkörper fest. Sämtliche bewegliche Fensterflügel, Drehflügel, Türflügel, Pfosten, Riegel/Kämpfer, T-Verbindungsteile oder
sungen, die an den Hauptflügelrahmen angebaut sein können, müssen ebenfalls entsprechend geprüft werden.
Die Prüfung gilt für Fenster mit beliebigen Füllungen, unabhängig vom Material, einschließlich Glas. Sie dient nicht zur Klassifizierung der Festigkeit des Glases, welches als Füllung verwendet wird. Sie ist für die Beurtei
lung der Wechselwirkungen zwischen allen Teilen eines Fensters oder einer Tür vorgesehen, besonders
sichtlich der Nutzungssicherheit.
ANMERKUNG1 Das Prüfverfahren ist vorgesehen für verglaste Türen mit einem Verletzungsrisiko. Wenn vom Kunden verlangt, kann es kann aber auch für andere Arten von Türen verwendet werden.
ANMERKUNG2 Zur Klassifizierung von Glas siehe EN12600. Die Prüfung wurde so erarbeitet, dass sie für alle Fenster- oder Türarten und deren Ausführungen und Werkstoffe geeignet ist.

Le présent document spécifie la méthode d’essai, les prescriptions de sécurité et la classification
concernant la détermination de l’effet d’un choc induit par un corps mou et lourd sur une fenêtre ou un
bloc-porte pour piétons. Tout vantail mobile secondaire, coulissant ou battant, tout ouvrant, meneau,
traverse, raccord en T ou châssis fixe pouvant être monté intérieurement sur les vantaux battants ou
coulissants principaux doit être soumis aux mêmes essais.
L’essai s’applique à tous les remplissages, quel que soit le matériau, y compris le verre. Il n’est pas
destiné à évaluer la résistance du verre utilisé comme remplissage. Il est prévu pour estimer les
interactions entre tous les composants d’une fenêtre ou d’un bloc-porte pour piétons, en ce qui
concerne notamment la sécurité d’utilisation.
NOTE 1 Cette méthode d’essai est prévue pour s’appliquer aux blocs-portes vitrés pour piétons auxquels est
associé un risque de blessure mais elle peut également être utilisée pour d’autres types de blocs-portes pour
piétons, à la demande du client.
NOTE 2 Pour la classification du verre, voir l’EN 12600. L’essai a été conçu de façon à pouvoir être adapté à
tout type et configuration de fenêtre ou de bloc-porte pour piétons, et de matériau les constituant.

Ta standard določa preskusno metodo, zahteve in razvrščanje pri določevanju učinka udarca na okno z mehkim, težkim telesom. Podobno je treba preskusiti tudi vsa sekundarna premična krila in okvirje ali fiksne luči, ki so lahko nameščene znotraj glavnih kril ali okvirjev. Preskus se uporablja za vsa polnila iz različnih materialov, vključno s steklom. Zasnovan je bil tako, da ustreza vsem vrstam, konfiguracijam in materialom oken.
