This document specifies methods for recording the time history of the sound pressure produced either by shooting with calibres of less than 20 mm, or by detonation of explosive charges of less than 50 g TNT equivalent, within the shooting range at locations of interest, regarding the exposure to sound of the shooter, or any other person within the shooting range. The time history of the sound pressure can be the basis for further analyses of this type of sound at the locations of interest.

Dieses Dokument legt Verfahren zur Aufzeichnung des zeitlichen Verlaufs des Schalldrucks fest, der entweder durch Schießen mit Kalibern von weniger als 20 mm oder durch die Detonation von Sprengladungen mit einem TNT-Äquivalent von weniger als 50 g innerhalb des Schießplatzes an interessierenden Orten erzeugt wird, und zwar bezogen auf die Schallexposition des Schützen oder jeder anderen Person innerhalb des Schießplatzes. Der zeitliche Verlauf des Schalldrucks kann als Grundlage für weitere Analysen dieser Art von Schall an den interessierenden Orten dienen.

Le présent document spécifie des méthodes d’enregistrement de la pression acoustique en fonction du temps produite soit par le tir avec des armes de calibres inférieurs à 20 mm, soit par la détonation de charges explosives de moins de 50 g d’équivalent TNT, à l’intérieur d’un stand de tir, à des emplacements d’intérêt, relativement à l’exposition sonore du tireur ou de toute autre personne se trouvant à l’intérieur du stand de tir. La pression acoustique en fonction du temps peut servir de base à des analyses plus poussées de ce type de son aux emplacements d’intérêt.

Ta dokument določa metode za beleženje časovne zgodovine zvočnega tlaka, ki ga na opazovanih lokacijah znotraj strelskega poligona povzroči streljanje s kalibri, manjšimi od 20 mm, ali detonacija eksplozivnih nabojev z manj kot 50 g ekvivalenta TNT, v zvezi z izpostavljenostjo zvoku pri strelcu ali kateri koli drugi osebi znotraj strelskega poligona. Časovna zgodovina zvočnega tlaka je lahko osnova za nadaljnje analize tovrstnega zvoka na opazovanih lokacijah.

The text of ISO 17201-6:2021 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 43 "Acoustics” of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 17201-6:2022
by Technical Committee CEN/TC 211 “Acoustics” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2022, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2022.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
