Machines and installations for the exploitation and processing of natural stone - Safety - Part 2: Requirements for transportable diamond wire saws
This document deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events which are relevant to transportable diamond wire saws, used in quarries for cutting natural stones (e.g. marble, granite), when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Annex A).
For this document, the intended use of machine is limited by the following cutting operations, defined in Clause 3:
1) vertical cut (see 3.16);
a) mountain vertical cut (see 3.16.1);
b) mountain side vertical cut (see 3.16.2);
c) block vertical cut (see 3.16.3);
d) overhead underslung vertical cut (see 3.16.4);
2) horizontal cut (see 3.17);
a) horizontal cut with one side open (see 3.17.1);
b) horizontal cut with two sides open (see 3.17.2);
3) block inclined cut (see 3.18).
Cutting operations listed above are performed without any path variation (see 3.11).
This document does not deal with any other cutting operation not listed above or defined in Clause 3.
This document deals only with transportable diamond wire saws using coated diamond wire as tool.
This document specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks arising from the significant hazards.
This document deals with all significant hazards that could occur within the expected lifetime of the machinery including the phases of transport, assembly, dismantling, disabling and scrapping.
This document does not deal with the significant hazards arising by the use of other facilities/devices not described in this document, that could be fitted on the machines or that could be used during the work cycle.
This document does not apply to:
i) machines intended for operation in a potentially explosive atmosphere;
ii) machines which are manufactured before the date of publication of this document.

Dieses Dokument behandelt alle signifikanten Gefährdungen, Gefährdungssituationen und Gefährdungsereignisse im Zusammenhang mit mobilen Diamantseilsägen, die in Steinbrüchen zum Schneiden von Natursteinen (z. B. Marmor, Granit) verwendet werden, wenn sie bestimmungsgemäß und unter Bedingungen der Fehlanwendung, die vernünftigerweise vom Hersteller vorhersehbar sind, verwendet werden (siehe Anhang A).
Im Rahmen dieses Dokuments ist die bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung der Maschine auf die folgenden, in Abschnitt 3 definierten Schneidvorgänge beschränkt:
1) Vertikalschnitt (siehe 3.16);
a) Vertikalschnitt aus dem Berg (siehe 3.16.1);
b) Vertikalschnitt an der Hangseite des Berges (siehe 3.16.2);
c) Vertikalschnitt zur Blockherstellung (siehe 3.16.3);
d) unterhalb ausgeführter Vertikalschnitt von oben (siehe 3.16.4);
2) Horizontalschnitt (siehe 3.17);
a) Horizontalschnitt mit einer offenen Seite (siehe 3.17.1);
b) Horizontalschnitt mit zwei offenen Seiten (siehe 3.17.2);
3) schräger Schnitt zur Blockherstellung (siehe 3.18).
Die oben aufgeführten Schneidevorgänge werden ohne jegliche Wegänderung (siehe 3.11) durchgeführt.
Dieses Dokument behandelt keine anderen Schneidvorgänge, die nicht oben aufgeführt oder in Abschnitt 3 definiert sind.
Dieses Dokument behandelt ausschließlich mobile Diamantseilsägen mit beschichtetem Diamantseil als Werkzeug.
Dieses Dokument legt die geeigneten technischen Maßnahmen fest, um die aus den signifikanten Gefährdungen resultierenden Risiken zu beseitigen oder zu verringern.
Dieses Dokument behandelt alle signifikanten Gefährdungen, die innerhalb der erwarteten Lebensdauer der Maschinen auftreten könnten, einschließlich der Phasen Transport, Montage, Demontage, Außerbetriebnahme und Verschrottung.
Dieses Dokument befasst sich nicht mit den signifikanten Gefährdungen, die sich aus der Verwendung anderer in diesem Dokument nicht beschriebener Vorrichtungen/Geräte ergeben, die an den Maschinen angebracht sein könnten oder während des Arbeitszyklus verwendet werden könnten.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für:
i) Maschinen, die für den Betrieb in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen vorgesehen sind;

Le présent document traite de tous les phénomènes dangereux, situations dangereuses et événements dangereux significatifs qui sont pertinents pour les scies à fil diamanté transportables utilisées dans les carrières ou dans les scieries pour couper des pierres naturelles (par exemple, le marbre, le granite), lorsqu’elles sont utilisées normalement et dans les conditions de mauvaise utilisation raisonnablement prévisibles par le fabricant (voir Annexe A).
Pour le présent document, l’utilisation prévue d’une machine est limitée par les opérations de découpe suivantes, définies dans l’Article 3 :
1) découpe verticale (voir 3.16) ;
a) découpe verticale en montagne (voir 3.16.1) ;
b) découpe verticale côté montagne (voir 3.16.2) ;
c) découpe verticale de bloc (voir 3.16.3) ;
d) découpe verticale du haut vers le contrebas (voir 3.16.4) ;
2) découpe horizontale (voir 3.17) ;
a) découpe horizontale avec un côté ouvert (voir 3.17.1) ;
b) découpe horizontale avec deux côtés ouverts (voir 3.17.2) ;
3) découpe inclinée de bloc (voir 3.18).
Les opérations de découpe répertoriées ci-dessus sont réalisées sans aucune variation de trajectoire (voir 3.11).
Le présent document ne traite d’aucune autre opération de découpe non recensée ci-dessus ou définie dans l’Article 3.
Le présent document traite uniquement des scies à fil diamanté transportables utilisant comme outil un fil diamanté.
Le présent document spécifie les mesures techniques appropriées pour éliminer ou réduire les risques dus aux phénomènes dangereux significatifs.
Le présent document traite de tous les phénomènes dangereux pouvant survenir au cours de la durée de vie prévisible de la machine, y compris les phases de transport, de montage, de démontage, de mise hors service et de mise au rebut.
Le présent document ne traite pas des phénomènes dangereux significatifs engendrés par l’utilisation d’autres installations/dispositifs non décrits dans le présent document, qui peuvent être montés sur les machines ou utilisés pendant le cycle de travail.
Le présent document ne s’applique pas aux :
i) machines prévues pour une utilisation en atmosphère explosible ;

Ta dokument obravnava vsa večja tveganja, nevarne situacije in nevarne dogodke, navedene v dodatku A, v zvezi s premičnimi žičnimi diamantnimi žagami in postopki žaganja, kot so opredeljeni v točki 3.
Ta dokument obravnava samo premične žične diamantne žage, ki se uporabljajo v kamnolomih za žaganje naravnega kamna (npr. marmorja, granita), kadar se uporabljajo v skladu s predvidenim namenom in pod pogoji razumno predvidljive nepravilne uporabe, ki jih določa proizvajalec (glej dodatek A).
Ta dokument obravnava samo tiste premične žične diamantne žage, pri katerih se kot delovno orodje uporablja prevlečena diamantna žica.
