Tanks for the transport of dangerous goods - Tank equipment for the transport of liquid chemicals and liquefied gases - Foot valves

This European Standard specifies the requirements for foot valves for use on transportable tanks with a minimum working pressure greater than 50 kPa for the transport of dangerous goods by road and rail.
It is applicable to metallic equipment for use on tanks with gravity and/or pressure bottom loading and discharge for liquid chemicals and liquefied gases. It includes carbon dioxide while excluding refrigerated liquefied gases.
NOTE The standard is also applicable to liquefied gases including LPG, however, for a dedicated LPG standard see EN 13175 [3].

Tanks für die Beförderung gefährlicher Güter - Ausrüstung für Tanks für die Beförderung von flüssigen Chemieprodukten und Flüssiggasen - Bodenventile

Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen an Bodenventile für die Verwendung an Tanks mit einem Mindest-Betriebsdruck von mehr als 50 kPa für die Beförderung gefährlicher Güter auf der Straße und auf der Schiene fest.
Es gilt für metallische Ausrüstungen an Tanks für die folgenden Funktionen für interne Absperrventile:
- primärer Verschluss von Schwerkraft Abflussleitungen (flüssige Stoffe);
- primärer Verschluss der unteren Entleerungsleitungen (Flüssiggase: Flüssigphase und Gasphase);
- primärer Verschluss der oberen Entleerung (giftige verflüssigte Gase: Flüssigphase und Gasphase);
- und andere dem Anwendungsbereich dieses Dokuments entsprechende interne Ventile, wie in EN 14564:2019, Anhang F, festgelegt.
ANMERKUNG 1 Das Dokument gilt ebenfalls für verflüssigte Gase, einschließlich Flüssiggas (LPG); für eine einschlägige Flüssiggasnorm, siehe EN 13175 [3].
ANMERKUNG 2 Ventile, die diesem Dokument entsprechen, können bei der oberen Entleerung von Flüssigkeiten und sonstigen Produkten als primärer Verschluss verwendet werden.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives aux clapets de fond sur les citernes, dont la pression minimale de service est supérieure à 50 kPa, pour le transport routier ou ferroviaire des matières dangereuses.
Il s’applique aux équipements métalliques des citernes pour les fonctions suivantes pour les obturateurs internes :
-   première fermeture des lignes de vidange par gravité (produits liquides) ;
-   première fermeture des lignes de vidange par le bas (gaz liquides : phase liquide et phase gazeuse) ;
-   première fermeture des lignes de vidange par le haut (gaz liquéfiés toxiques : phase liquide et phase gazeuse) ;
-   et autres obturateurs internes tels que spécifiés à l’Annexe F de l’EN 14564:2019 conformément au domaine d’application du présent document.
NOTE 1   Le document s’applique également aux gaz liquéfiés, y compris le GPL. Toutefois, pour une norme spécifique au GPL, se reporter à l’EN 13175 [3].
NOTE 2   Les clapets conformes au présent document peuvent être utilisés comme première fermeture en cas de vidange de liquides et d’autres produits par le haut.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za nožne ventile za uporabo pri premičnih cisternah z najnižjim delovnim tlakom, ki je višji od 50 kPa, za cestni in železniški prevoz nevarnega blaga.
Uporablja se za kovinsko opremo za uporabo pri cisternah s težnostnim in/ali tlačnim polnjenjem in praznjenjem s spodnje strani za tekoče kemikalije ter utekočinjene pline. Vključuje ogljikov dioksid, ne zajema pa hlajenih utekočinjenih plinov.
OPOMBA: Standard se uporablja tudi za utekočinjene pline, vključno z utekočinjenim naftnim plinom (LPG), vendar za ustrezni standard za utekočinjeni naftni plin glej EN 13175 [3].
